Roger Hooper

As a lifelong native of the Piney Woods of East Texas, I have spent my adult life working in the Ark-La-Tex region. After finding the love of my life, I settled in Ashdown, Arkansas, and began my journey as an entrepreneur. My forestry career began in 1994, working part-time as a forest technician while attending Stephen F. Austin State University, where I attained a Bachelor of Science in Forestry in June of 1998. My career since graduation has included positions with major forest management firms and REITs and has provided me with extensive experience in wood manufacturing, timber procurement, land and timber management, large and small real estate transactions, and even logging. I am currently licensed in both Arkansas and Texas, specializing in private timberland investment tracts, multi-use properties, timber and wildlife recreation, and other rural properties.
